From early childhood, Sonzal was fascinated with how a creative outlook plays a vital role in life and her imagination often inspires the pursuit of great fashion ideas by putting the fun in functionality.

Sonzal pursued her fashion designing dreams from the London College of Fashion, UK and graduated in Fashion Designing and also studied the art of make-up from Central St. Martins in London. Her inventive designs were often published in the London School magazines while she was studying there and were a regular feature at their gallery. She has often assisted designers at prominent fashion weeks in London during her university years. She got an opportunity to work with one of the best designers of India, 'Arjun Khanna' and has designed ensemble outfits for his label under his guidance.

Her work is guided by a strong belief in design, as a way of recognizing and forming relationships between ideas and reality, and as a method of seamlessly connecting people and the labels they use. She successfully differentiates narratives through the visualization of her design work and creates distinctive designer pieces with her sister in its clearest and freshest visual form.
